The first annual Flat Rock Duck Dash will be held at Riverfest on Saturday, September 17th.

Tickets will be available for purchase beginning August 1st at the Flat Rock Community Center, City Hall and all community events put on by the city.

Due to the current State of Emergency in Flat Rock relating to the recent chemical spill, as well as the urgent need to focus community resources on the developing situation, we have made the decision to cancel this year’s Riverfest.  

We are deeply disappointed to cancel the festival but it is the best decision for all involved. We would to thank all of our Sponsors, Vendors, Committee Members, and Volunteers for the hard work that went into planning. Thank you very much for your understanding and continued support of Riverfest. WE’RE BACK! The 2021 Flat Rock Riverfest will take place September 10th & 11th at the beautiful Huroc Park, located along the Huron River in downtown Flat Rock. This year’s festival will feature two days full of family fun and entertainment. From fireworks on Friday night, to concerts from Atomic Radio (Friday) and the Mega 80’s (Saturday), bounce inflatables for the kids, Shell Camino Monster Truck rides and more, this year’s festival is sure to be a fun experience for the entire family to enjoy!

The Flat Rock DDA along with Flat Rock Our Hometown and the Community Foundation is presenting the 2020 Cruzin’ Flat Car and Truck Show.

The PSCU Cruzin’ Flat Rock Car and Truck Show “COVID 2020 Edition” is this Saturday, September 12, 2020.

Registration fee is FREE on site.

The show runs from 10AM ends at 2PM with a special addition this year of a cruise down Gibraltar Road.to show off your Classic Cars to the folks in Flat Rock.  The small one loop cruise starts at 2 PM at HuRoc Park.  You must register your car at the show to ride in the cruise.

This year’s entry point will once again be at Arsenal and West Huron River Roads near HuRoc Park.

Visitors to the show can park on Atwater, East Huron River and Gibraltar Roads.

The show will feature only one trophy, this year, the “Chairman’s Choice Award”.

There will be music with a DJ, Stay Cold Entertainment, starting at 10 AM and a live performance by local singer Courtney Lynn at 11 AM.  There will also be Door prizes, including a gift card from Flat Rock Auto donated by Key Bank along with 10 FREE car washes from Cobra Car Wash in Flat Rock, tools from the Flat Rock Do-It-Center and wash bucket kits from the local auto parts places.  You can get into the drawing by registering on site when you come in.

The “COVID Edition” Entry includes a free T-Shirt to former trophy winners when displaying your trophies.

There will also be carnival style food trucks for those who want purchase a snack to eat. Or you can walk to some of our great local restaurants like Atwater Street Taco.

Cruzin’ Flat Rock T-Shirts will be available for only $5 for most sizes.

We will be following the Social Distancing Rules.
